Gala have decided to pursue the standardisation of a platform to run all gaming content and back office management of electronic games to improve business processes, optimise the earnings of the gaming terminals and remain at the leading edge of gambling provision in the UK.

By pursuing this course, Gala will remove the premium associated with buying 'dedicated' gambling terminals in favour of buying just the on screen content to deploy on a Gala Gaming Platform (GGP) terminal. This strategy will allow the entire estate of over 160 bingo halls and 29 casinos to have the newest games constantly updated to the tens of thousands of electronic gaming terminals.
